Our Story
A piece of the West Coast in Edmonton
Calm, welcoming, and rooted in nature, a place to slow down, find your footing, and let the waves carry your healing.
Our Story
Named for a place that shaped us
We are named in honour of Tulista Park in Sidney, BC, a place that holds deep personal meaning behind the clinic's origins. After more than two decades spent in this seaside town, our founder was inspired by the calm, beauty, and sense of connection that Tulista Park offered.
It became a symbol of reflection, healing, and grounding that now shapes the vision for this practice. By bringing a piece of the West Coast to Edmonton, Tulista Park Psychology hopes to create a space that feels just as peaceful, welcoming, and rooted in nature.

The Founder
Meet Vanna Funk
Founder & Registered Provisional Psychologist
Vanna is the proud owner and founder of Tulista Park Psychology. Alongside her ownership role, she practices as a Registered Provisional Psychologist, passionate about supporting children (6+), teens, parents, and individual adults navigate life's challenges with warmth, understanding, and compassion.
Vanna has supported individuals over the last 7 years in various settings across hospitals, treatment centres, day programs, crisis lines, non-profits, and now private practice.

Behind the Scenes
Meet Vince Sanginiti
Co-owner & Office Manager, and Vanna's husband
Vince is the proud co-owner and office manager of Tulista Park Psychology and brings a wealth of experience from years of working in mental health and law enforcement. His career has spanned jails, group homes, hospitals, transitional housing, and shelters, supporting individuals navigating trauma, vulnerabilities, and mental health challenges.
Vince and Vanna first met while working in the field of mental health and quickly discovered a shared passion for creating spaces of safety, compassion, and growth. Having experienced his own journey with mental health and the healing power of counselling, Vince was inspired to help bring Vanna's vision for Tulista Park Psychology to life.
Grounded, empathetic, and deeply community-minded, Vince is proud to be part of building a clinic where people feel seen, supported, and cared for.
